About Us

The San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians is a federally recognized American Indian tribe located near the city of Highland, California. Their reservation was established in 1891 and they were recognized as a sovereign nation with the right of self-government. San Manuel Casino was established in 1986 as a bingo hall on the San Manuel reservation to generate revenues for tribal government services, programs and infrastructure. Today San Manuel Casino is Southern California’s one-stop destination for entertainment and fun. This is an event that will include several departments within San Manuel Casino and Tribal operations. You will have an opportunity to explore current job openings, meet and interview with hiring managers, receive a potential job offer and learn more about our entire enterprise and upcoming Casino expansion.

Registration is required. You can register in just a few easy steps at careerexpo.sanmanuel.com. Registration is open leading up to and the day of the Expo.

Prepare just as though you were attending an in-person event. Have an electronic copy of your resume ready and be prepared to talk about your experience, skills and what makes you the best fit for San Manuel. Also, be ready to go on camera. Sit in a well-lit space, check your microphone and video prior to the event, and make sure you are free from distractions.
We’re mobile friendly! You can also use a laptop, desktop or tablet, too! All you need is a device with a camera capabilities and a reliable internet connection.

You don’t have to, but it would help to expedite the process if you chose to interview and get selected to move forward.
No, you do not have to have a resume, although we highly recommend it. If you do have one, you can upload it at the time of registration.
Dress for Success! You should always dress as though this is an in-person event. Business Casual attire such as button-down, collared shirts or blouses are recommended.
Yes. A hiring manager will let you know at the end of the interview whether there is a follow-up wait time or if an offer will be extended.

During the Event

Much like a traditional interview, you will be asked questions about your skills and experience in relation to the position. This is your time to shine! Be prepared to talk about your past experience and how you will add value to the San Manuel Team. Feel free to ask any questions you might have as well.
Candidates can sign up for one-on-one sessions or Hiring Managers can choose candidates out of the crowd to meet with. We highly recommend that you sign up for a session, as they will fill up quickly!
When in the event, you will be able to scroll through open departments. Once you identify a department of interest, there will be a sign-up option at each booth.
Absolutely! Just like an in-person interview, we want to meet you face-to-face!
We recommend selecting only a couple of positions you are most interested in and allowing time between each scheduled session. You can always attend future sessions or apply for any position you’re interested in at www.sanmanuelcareers.com and we will reach out to you for future interviews.

Most positions within San Manuel require a Gaming License. An application is submitted by the candidate prior to confirming hire. This is an extensive background check that is completed by our Gaming Commission and can vary on length of time, but typically ranges from 2-4 weeks.
Yes. All candidates that are extended an offer must complete a drug test.
